Allergens cause inflammation of
the nose's inner lining. This results in allergic rhinitis. The person may be
allergic to a specific allergen. The human body's immune system automatically
reacts to allergens by producing antibodies that release histamine and chemical
catalysts that defend against the allergen.
Ayurveda medicine for allergic
rhinitis is caused by a lack of immunity. Superior, inferior,
and middle turbinate bones, as well as maxillary bone, line our nasal passage.
These bones prevent foreign particles from entering the nasal passage and mucus
membrane, resulting in sticky mucus.
This mucus prevents small particles in the air
from passing through the nasal passage, cavities, and the lungs.
When a person's immunity is
compromised, small particles such as dust, dirt, pollen, microscopic bacteria
and germs, and so on, enter the nasal passage and cause irritation and
inflammation (local swelling). This manifests itself as symptoms such as - Sneezing,
itching, runny nose, headache, mild fever, and other symptoms may occur.
